September is indeed a harvest season.

On September 26th, the unveiling ceremony of the BioMérieux R&D and Innovation Incubation Center (Suzhou) and the completion ceremony of the HOKAPI new site was held at the HOKAPI new site in Suzhou. The ceremony was hosted by Zhang Yunhong, General Manager of HOKAPI, and was jointly unveiled by Liu Xiaotao, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Party Secretary of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee, Wang Yang, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee, Secretary General of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee, Mao Wei, Party Secretary of CPC SND Working Committee (at that time), Pierre Boulud, CEO of bioMérieux, Céline Roger, EVP of R&D and CTO of BioMérieux, and Lucy Zhang, Global Clinical Operations Senior Vice President and China President. Also in attendance were Yu Meihua, Member of CPC SND Working Committee, Deputy Director of SND Administrative Committee, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Huqiu District Committee, Zhou Xiaochun, Member of CPC SND Working Committee, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Huqiu District Committee, Party Secretary of CPC Xushuguan Working Committee, as well as leaders from the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Health Commission, Foreign Affairs Office, Medical Insurance Bureau, and relevant government department leaders of SND, along with leaders of bioMérieux Asia-Pacific and China. This ceremony not only recognizes all the efforts of the two companies but also signifies a beautiful vision for future cooperation and development.

Mr. Pierre Boulud expressed sincere gratitude in his speech for the full support provided by Suzhou Municipal government and SND over the years, as well as for the effort and work of HOKAPI management team. Chinese market is the second largest market of bioMérieux. bioMérieux decided to establish a manufacturing and R&D innovation incubation center in Suzhou and increase our equity investment in HOKAPI over the past few years, which fully demonstrates our deep affection for China and our confidence in the development of Suzhou and SND. In the future, we hope to further strengthen collaboration with our partners to carry out technology research, development and industrialization, jointly explore Chinese market, and strive to create a better future.

Mr. Mao Wei stated in his speech that medical device is one of the key industries that SND is focusing on developing. After years of deep cultivation, there are over 1,000 related enterprises in SND, and bioMérieux is an outstanding representative among them. bioMérieux made the decision to deeply develop in China and empower Chinese enterprises, which demonstrates powerful initiatives. SND is full of confidence in the development and is deeply moved and inspired. We will definitely do our most to strengthen service support, create the best business environment, and assist enterprises in growing bigger and stronger.

Lastly, on behalf of HOKAPI, Ms. Zhang Yunhong, the General Manager, expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the encouragement and recognition from Mr. Pierre Boulud and Mr. Mao. She stated that she is confident in building the R&D and innovation incubation center into a world-class innovation ecosystem and the new site into an important strategic innovation and manufacturing center for bioMérieux, injecting new energy into HOKAPI future development.

Before the unveiling ceremony, Mr. Liu Xiaotao also took mcuh interest in visiting HOKAPI exhibition room, where Ms. Zhang Yunhong provided a detailed introduction on HOKAPI development progress and achievements since being acquired by bioMérieux.

After the unveiling ceremony, HOKAPI senior and middle management team had a round table meeting with bioMérieux Executive Committee members. Mr. Pierre Boulud once again affirmed the achievements of HOKAPI team and also expressed his high expectations for the future

On the morning of the same day, accompanied by Ms. Zhang Yunhong and National Sales Deputy General Manager Mr. Hu Zhen'ai, bioMérieux Executive Committee members visited Suzhou Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University and witnessed firsthand the excellent performance of HOKAPI products in client applications.

After the unveiling ceremony of the BioMérieux R&D and Innovation Incubation Center (Suzhou), with the global influence of bioMérieux, the innovation center will focus on global innovative technologies, domestic substitution of imports, and iterative innovation in the medical field. In conjunction with Suzhou's well developed biomedical industry chain and talent pool, it will promote the research and development of new products and the incubation and launch of new projects, nurturing and incubating more high-growth technology enterprises, and driving the clustered development of the upstream and downstream industrial chains. In the future, both parties will continue to work together to jointly promote the innovation and development of IVD in China, realizing the long-term vision of bioMérieux, which is "In China, for China, and developing together with China".
